FC Bookkeeper
The Full Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. This role handles the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activity.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain vendor and customer records and resolve account discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation
