We are seeking a business-focused HR Director to lead the delivery of HR initiatives for key functions within Quantinuum while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees. This role will be responsible for driving talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, workforce planning, leadership development, and human resources programs that support Quantinuum's continued growth and innovation.

The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders to build high-performing teams, foster an inclusive and engaging workplace culture, and ensure people practices align with organizational objectives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Initiative Delivery

  • Align people strategies with business objectives to support growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on how to best execute performance management, employee development, and change management initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce trends and people metrics to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.

Talent Management & Organizational Development

  • Support talent review, succession planning, and leadership development processes.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop effective recruiting strategies and support hiring needs.
  • Drive employee development initiatives that enhance capability, performance, and engagement.
  • Support organizational effectiveness efforts, including team design, role clarity, and change enablement.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Provide guidance and resolution support for employee relations matters.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen employee engagement and retention.

HR Programs & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence to execute compensation, benefits, performance management, and talent initiatives.
  • Support policy development, implementation, and communication.
  • Participate in HR audits, investigations, and risk mitigation activities as needed.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop HR team members, as applicable.
  • Collaborate across the HR function to ensure alignment and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, programs, and employee experiences.
  • Support executive leadership with strategic workforce insights and organizational planning.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership-level HR Business Partner or HR management experience.
  • Due to contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, worker granted asylum, or refugee status.
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

WE VALUE:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders in a complex, high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, performance management, and talent management practices.
  • Experience supporting engineering, research and development, manufacturing, or technology organizations.
  • Proven success leading organizational change, leadership development, and talent strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging people data to drive business decisions.
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Ability to influence effectively across all levels of the organization.

This position is Bonus and Equity Eligible

The base pay range for this role is $159,000 - $200,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.

Travel: ~10-20%
