We are seeking an experienced and visionary VP Talent and Organization Capability to lead Quantinuum’s global talent strategy, including talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, learning and development, and talent reviews. This executive leader will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive talent management strategy that strengthens organizational capability, accelerates leadership readiness, and enables business growth across our global workforce.
The VP, Talent Management will partner closely with executive leadership, Human Resources, Finance, and business leaders to develop scalable talent solutions that support organizational priorities and foster a high-performance culture. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future workforce of a rapidly growing company comprised of highly specialized scientists, engineers, researchers, and technology professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Strategy
- Drive world class talent acquisition strategy and positive experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders
- Develop and execute a global talent management strategy aligned with Quantinuum’s business objectives, growth plans, and culture.
- Establish an integrated framework for talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and workforce capability building.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify critical talent risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans.
- Drive enterprise-wide talent initiatives that support organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business transformation.
Leadership Development & Succession
- Design and lead a comprehensive succession planning process for executive, leadership, and critical technical roles.
- Build leadership development programs that strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels of the organization.
- Partner with executive leadership to assess leadership effectiveness and future readiness.
- Develop strategies to accelerate the growth and retention of high-potential talent.
Performance Management & Talent Reviews
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quantinuum’s performance management philosophy, processes, and tools.
- Facilitate enterprise talent review processes and calibration activities to ensure consistent assessment and development practices.
- Drive a culture of accountability, feedback, development, and high performance.
- Leverage talent data and organizational insights to inform decision-making and workforce planning.
Learning & Organizational Effectiveness
- Establish global learning and development strategies focused on leadership, technical capability, and career growth.
- Partner with business leaders to assess organizational capabilities and implement solutions that enhance effectiveness, agility, and scalability.
- Support major organizational initiatives, including restructuring, change management, and workforce transformation efforts.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development across the enterprise.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Partner with HR leadership to strengthen employee engagement, and organizational culture initiatives.
- Lead engagement assessment strategies and action planning processes.
- Develop programs that improve employee experience, retention, and career mobility.
- Ensure talent practices support Quantinuum’s values and long-term business objectives.
Leadership & Analytics
- Lead and develop a high-performing global Talent Management team.
- Build data-driven approaches to talent strategy utilizing workforce analytics, assessment insights, and market intelligence.
- Present talent strategies, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across talent programs.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness, or Human Resources experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Due to contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, worker granted asylum, or refugee status.
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
WE VALUE:

- Deep expertise in succession planning, leadership development, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and talent assessment.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership teams and board-level stakeholders.
- Strong background in change management and organizational transformation.
- Experience supporting highly technical, engineering, research, or technology-focused organizations.
- Demonstrated success building leadership pipelines and developing leadership capability at scale.
- Strong analytical and consulting skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating within multinational organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
This position is Bonus and Equity Eligible
The base pay range for this role is $240,000 - $300,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
Travel: ~10-20%
