Manager, Customer Development & Growth Market
Sager Electronics is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Manager, Customer Development & Growth Markets to lead key initiatives that accelerate customer acquisition, expand market opportunities, increase eCommerce revenue, and strengthen our technical engagement with customers.
This highly visible leadership role combines strategy, digital customer experience, technical customer support, and team leadership. You will lead our eSales and Technical Solutions teams while partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Marketing Communications, eBusiness, and supplier partners to deliver growth and enhance customer experience.

What You'll Do
As the Manager, Customer Development & Growth Markets, you will:
- Develop and execute customer acquisition and market expansion strategies that drive profitable revenue growth.
- Lead and develop the eSales team to increase customer engagement, conversion, retention, and digital sales performance.
- Manage the Technical Solutions team, supporting product selection, application engineering, design-in opportunities, and technical customer engagement.
- Partner with regional sales teams to support customers through design, qualification, and production cycles.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Marketing Communications on growth programs, customer campaigns, and new product introductions.
- Drive supplier initiatives and technical marketing programs including webinars, seminars, trade shows, and customer events.
- Enhance Sager's digital customer experience by partnering with eBusiness and IT teams to optimize online content, product discovery, and eCommerce performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer behavior, and sales data to identify opportunities and recommend actions.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.
- Recruit, coach, develop, and inspire team members while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Ensure departmental priorities, resources, and operations align with strategic business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in electronics distribution, eCommerce, customer development, technical sales support, market development, or related disciplines.
- Proven leadership experience with successful track record building and developing teams.
- Experience driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, digital engagement, and business development initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Strong understanding of electronics distribution, suppliers, commodities, and market dynamics.
- Experience leading eCommerce, digital sales, technical customer support, or customer success functions.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, IT, and supplier organizations.
- Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales goals and profit margin targets.
- Resolve customer questions, issues, and complaints professionally and collaboratively.

Compensation
- Annual Base Salary Range: $80,400 - $97,900
- Annual Total Compensation Range (Base + Incentive): $123,700 – $150,600
The typical compensation structure includes a base salary and a monthly incentive opportunity for a total target income. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level. Final base pay and target incentive details will be confirmed at the time of offer.
