The Intelligence and Operations Solutions Division within the Airborne & Mission Solutions Business Area of Leidos is seeking a Flight School Student Program Coordinator supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program in Fort Rucker, AL. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your project coordination expertise in direct support of the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE)- one of the most respected training environments in the world.
As the prime contractor for ATSOS, Leidos delivers comprehensive flight and simulation training, classroom instruction, and schoolhouse support, including One Army School System (OASS) integration and Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) maintenance. In this position, you will play a critical role in preparing Army National Guard maintainers for the demanding operational environments they face.
Leidos is hiring a Flight School Student Program Coordinator to execute the management, administrative, and training support functions required by the ARNG Liaison Office. These duties span across multiple roles, including Officer in Charge (OIC), equivalent duties and Administrative Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) duties. The selected candidate will bridge multiple operational roles, ensuring seamless student tracking, orders processing, and academic evaluation in compliance with ARNG and active-duty standards. Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate training seat quotas and execution with AVCOE G3, 1-145th BN SMO, and NGB QSM.
- Prepare presentation materials and conduct formal briefings.
- Maintain student tracking database with personnel data, class changes, personal circumstances and class extensions. Distribute weekly to State Army Aviation Officers (SAAO) and National Guard Bureau (NGB). Provide biweekly SITREP with current training metrics to provided distribution list.
- Coordinate order amendments and extensions for 20-40 students weekly with NGB and SAAO POCs.
- Support students pay issues with AVCOE Finance Office and State ARNG POCs.
- Execute student elimination packets, state recall orders and conduct meetings with students for pre-appeal hearings.
- Monitor and evaluate student academic progress and identify training remedies for any deficiencies identified.
- Represent students during elimination hearings and appeal hearings. Collect feedback concerning student eliminations and provide formal recommendations to elimination authority.
- Coordinate support for Senior Leadership visiting AVCOE headquarters.
- Report on ARNG operational data in the Task Order Monthly Report.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 8 years’ of applicable experience or Bachelors’ Degree with 4 years’ of experience.
- Previous experience using Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS).
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Familiarity with standard Army administrative forms; USAACE 396, DA Form 3960, etc.
- Effective communicator up-and-down the leadership chain.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience coordinating ARNG flight school students through AVCOE flight school.
- Experience at EAATS, HAATS, WAATS or U.S. Army Aviation Training Center.
- Experience using rolling data database.
- Experience with completing SGA SITREP.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
