Front Desk Coordinator

We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support guest arrival operations for a large event in New Jersey. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience while keeping entry procedures organized and efficient. The person in this role will help oversee event access, confirm guest eligibility, and provide courteous assistance at the front entrance throughout the event.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome attendees at the main event entrance and create a welcoming first impression.
• Verify tickets or admission credentials before allowing guests to enter the event.
• Check in attendees accurately and maintain orderly entry flow during busy periods.
• Answer basic guest questions and direct visitors to the appropriate event areas when needed.
• Monitor the entrance area to help ensure admission procedures are followed consistently.
• Address minor entry issues with a calm, service-focused approach and escalate concerns when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests.
• Experience or interest in concierge-style support or front-of-house event assistance.
• Comfortable standing at the entrance and managing a steady flow of attendees.
• Excellent communication skills and a welcoming, detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to stay organized and attentive while handling check-in tasks.
• No prior years of experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$19.00-$20.00 Hourly
