Gift Officer
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily administrative activities, including scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and general office support.
• Respond to inbound calls with professionalism, direct inquiries appropriately, and provide a positive first point of contact for donors and visitors.
• Maintain and update donor records with a high level of accuracy, ensuring information is entered correctly and kept current.
• Support donor cultivation efforts by preparing communications, tracking follow-up items, and assisting with outreach activities.
• Help manage donor stewardship activities by organizing materials, monitoring engagement details, and supporting retention initiatives.
• Assist with solicitation and communication efforts for individual and major donors in alignment with fundraising objectives.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and database updates to support donor management and administrative decision-making.
• Provide reception and front-office coverage while ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in administrative support, office coordination, or a similar setting.• Demonstrated ability to handle inbound calls, reception responsibilities, and general office tasks effectively.
• Experience with data entry and database maintenance, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Background supporting donor relations, philanthropy, fundraising, or customer relationship activities is strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal interactions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficiency with standard office software and comfort working with donor or contact management systems.
Compensation
