VP Commercial Finance

We are looking for an accomplished finance leader to guide commercial decision-making and provide strategic insight across investments, partnerships, and enterprise initiatives. This position works closely with executive leadership to assess opportunities, shape recommendations, and deliver clear financial perspectives that support growth and long-term value creation. The role also oversees high-impact analysis, board-level reporting, and cross-functional initiatives that strengthen performance, expand revenue opportunities, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial evaluation of commercial opportunities such as acquisitions, divestitures, leasing arrangements, and strategic investment transactions.

• Direct negotiations for complex business deals while partnering with legal teams to refine agreements and protect company interests.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and other stakeholders to support durable commercial success.

• Develop and advance the organization’s co-investment strategy by identifying, assessing, and managing relationships with aligned capital partners.

• Oversee the creation and review of investment memos, business cases, and financial models to ensure assumptions are sound and recommendations are well supported.

• Partner with asset trading and internal business teams to identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities with the greatest strategic and financial return.

• Prepare executive dashboards, board materials, and management reports that translate financial and operational data into actionable insights.

• Lead special projects, operational reviews, and process improvement efforts aimed at increasing efficiency, profitability, and overall business performance.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis, including audit-related asset appraisal coordination and review activities.

• Mentor and develop the commercial finance team by setting clear expectations and promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Extensive leadership experience in commercial finance, corporate finance, investment analysis, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated success evaluating complex transactions, including acquisitions, asset sales, leasing structures, and strategic investments.
• Strong background in financial modeling, business case development, budgeting, forecasting, and executive-level financial reporting.
• Ability to lead negotiations and work effectively with legal and cross-functional teams on commercial agreements.
• Experience managing external partner relationships, including investors, joint venture participants, or co-investment stakeholders.
• Strong command of financial reporting, cash flow planning, month-end processes, and annual budget management.
• Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to senior executives and board-level audiences.
• Leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and driving accountability in a fast-paced business environment.

Compensation

$200,000.00-$225,000.00 Yearly
