Payroll Manager

We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Manager to oversee accurate and timely payroll operations for a large, multi-state workforce. This role is well suited to someone who understands payroll from both accounting/finance and human resources perspectives, bringing a balanced approach to compliance, reporting, and employee support. The ideal candidate will be confident managing full-cycle payroll, maintaining precision in a high-volume environment, and using ADP Workforce Now to support efficient payroll administration.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for more than 500 employees, ensuring each payroll cycle is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Administer bi-monthly payroll activities, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefit-related updates.
• Manage payroll operations across multiple states while maintaining compliance with applicable wage, tax, and reporting requirements.
• Review payroll data thoroughly to identify discrepancies, resolve issues promptly, and uphold a high standard of accuracy.
• Partner with finance and human resources teams to align payroll activity with employee records, general ledger needs, and organizational policies.
• Maintain and optimize payroll records and workflows within ADP Workforce Now to support reliable processing and reporting.
• Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and internal stakeholders, providing clear and thorough guidance.
• Prepare payroll reports, support audits, and help ensure proper documentation and internal controls are consistently maintained.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll in a high-volume environment.
• Background processing payroll for a workforce of more than 500 employees.
• Hands-on experience administering multi-state payroll with strong knowledge of related compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
• Experience running bi-monthly payroll on a consistent schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to payroll accuracy.
• Prior payroll experience within both accounting/finance and human resources settings is highly preferred.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$85,000.00 Yearly
