Distribution Administrative Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Packaging Administrative Coordinator to support packaging and distributions operations in Baltimore, Maryland within the food and food processing industry. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong administrative skills with analytical ability and is comfortable working in a manufacturing or distribution environment. The person in this role will help maintain accurate department records, strengthen attendance and timekeeping compliance, and provide reporting support that keeps daily operations organized and informed.
Responsibilities:
• Investigate and resolve timekeeping issues by gathering records, reviewing discrepancies, and coordinating with the appropriate teams to ensure accurate payroll-related data.
• Partner with Human Resources to monitor attendance, reinforce compliance expectations, and improve administrative consistency across the packaging department.
• Compile, organize, and analyze operational data for reporting needs, including support for department metrics and performance tracking.
• Work with corporate stakeholders to collect information, prepare data summaries, and assist with modeling and analysis requests.
• Review system entries for accuracy, identify errors, and make corrections or escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain reports, spreadsheets, and shared documentation to support day-to-day departmental administration.
• Assist with additional operational projects and special assignments as business needs evolve.
• Support a structured administrative environment by balancing routine tasks with urgent departmental priorities in a fast-paced plant setting.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within manufacturing, food production, distribution, or another industrial environment.• Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar enterprise system; familiarity with Kronos timekeeping is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas and report preparation, along with proficiency in Office applications and SharePoint.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and handle detailed work with minimal oversight.
• Experience supporting reporting, attendance tracking, payroll-related records, or union-related administrative processes is highly valued.
• Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to changing operational needs.
• Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a practical approach and a willingness to support tasks of all sizes.
Compensation
