Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Bedford, NH 03109, US Full Time

We are looking for an HR team member who can support a busy manufacturing operation while helping attract, recruit, and retain strong talent in Manchester, New Hampshire. This position combines hands-on recruiting with broad human resources support, making it a strong fit for someone who is organized, approachable, and confident managing competing priorities. The role also offers a defined path toward expanded partnership with leadership through increased involvement in employee relations, engagement, workforce planning, and manager support.

Responsibilities:
• Lead full-cycle hiring activities, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing offers, and guiding new team members through onboarding.
• Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers by addressing policy questions, resolving routine concerns, and supporting administrative processes.
• Build effective working relationships across departments to strengthen communication, trust, and consistency in HR practices.
• Support employee relations matters by documenting issues, assisting with follow-up actions, and helping managers navigate workplace concerns appropriately.
• Contribute to employee engagement efforts through programs and initiatives that promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate HR records and employee data within HR systems while assisting with reporting and general compliance needs.
• Administer HR processes related to benefits, onboarding documentation, and other core personnel activities.
• Partner with leadership on staffing needs, organizational planning, and the continued development of people-focused strategies.
• Assist with workplace safety support and other cross-functional initiatives tied to the employee experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications:

• Previous human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding activities.
• Working knowledge of employee relations practices and general HR administration.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee records.
• Familiarity with benefits-related support and standard HR processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
