Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day collection efforts to reduce outstanding customer balances and improve the timeliness of incoming payments.
• Review aging reports regularly to identify delinquent accounts, prioritize follow-up activity, and drive resolution of overdue invoices.
• Manage a large volume of receivables transactions, with attention to numerous smaller-balance invoices while maintaining overall portfolio accuracy.
• Apply customer payments accurately and promptly, ensuring cash receipts are posted correctly and account records remain current.
• Support billing operations by reviewing invoice details, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with internal stakeholders when issues affect payment timing.
• Re-engage past-due accounts from acquired business segments and work to bring legacy balances into good standing.
• Monitor collection progress and provide updates on trends, risks, and recovery status to leadership as needed.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable leadership or senior-level AR operations.• Hands-on background in commercial collections with a track record of reducing overdue balances.
• Working knowledge of cash application processes and payment posting accuracy.
• Ability to interpret and act on aging reports to prioritize collection strategy.
• Experience supporting billing functions and resolving invoice-related issues.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of receivables activity efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
