Site Support Technician
We are looking for a IT Site Support Technician to provide onsite technical assistance at a training facility in Coppell, Texas. This Contract position focuses on supporting classroom and end-user technology, resolving connectivity concerns, and delivering dependable day-to-day IT support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with users, diagnosing common hardware and network issues, and ensuring training sessions run smoothly without technical disruption. POSITION TITLE: IT SUPPORT ANALYST
LOCATION: ONSITE, HYBRID
HOURLY: $31 - $34
DURATION: 12 MONTHS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for internal staff and franchise owners
- Deliver onsite technical support during training sessions by ensuring computers, projectors, audio/visual equipment, conference room technology, tablets, and mobile devices are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot user access, account permissions, licensing issues, Active Directory administration tasks, group policy concerns, and general workstation support requests.
- Monitor and resolve support tickets for both onsite and remote users while maintaining a high level of customer service for non-technical end users.
- Assist with endpoint and infrastructure support activities, including device deployments, software configuration, network troubleshooting, and security-related investigations.
- Take initiative during slower periods to expand technical knowledge through training, system monitoring, security tools, and operational improvement projects.
- Support technology refreshes, equipment setup, and other site support functions as needed.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of IT support, service desk, desktop support, or technical support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and user account administration.
- Experience supporting conference room technology, projectors, AV equipment, mobile devices, or related end-user hardware is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to assist non-technical users in a professional manner.
- Self-starter who can work independently, prioritize tasks, and identify opportunities to learn and contribute.
- Exposure to networking concepts, licensing administration, device management, or endpoint security tools is preferred.
- Interest in long-term career growth
- Experience with endpoint security solutions such as CrowdStrike is a plus.
