SEO Content manager
Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a SEO Content Manager to lead and evolve their organic search strategy as part of a high-performing demand generation team. This individual will drive search visibility, website traffic, pipeline growth, and long-term digital presence by partnering across marketing, content, web, and revenue teams. This role is onsite in Austin, Tx.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute an enterprise SEO strategy across multiple products, services, and geographic markets.
- Drive organic growth initiatives focused on qualified traffic, lead generation, and pipeline contribution.
- Manage keyword strategy, content optimization, site architecture recommendations, metadata, and technical SEO initiatives.
- Conduct technical audits and prioritize optimization opportunities to improve search visibility and user experience.
AI & Search Optimization
- Optimize content for evolving search experiences, including AI-generated search results and featured answer formats.
- Partner with content and web teams to enhance discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search platforms.
- Apply structured data and semantic search best practices to improve content visibility and authority.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with demand generation, paid media, content marketing, product marketing, and web teams to align search strategies.
- Incorporate audience intent signals and marketing insights into SEO planning and execution.
- Educate stakeholders on SEO best practices and advocate for search visibility across the organization.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor SEO performance using analytics and search optimization platforms.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities to improve rankings, traffic, and engagement.
- Deliver regular reporting on key performance indicators, business impact, and strategic recommendations.
Agency & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, and marketing vendors.
- Evaluate performance against KPIs, oversee project delivery, and manage budgets and scopes of work.
- Recommend opportunities to optimize resources through internal capabilities or outsourced support.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of SEO experience within B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise organizations.
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, and website optimization.
- Experience using SEO and web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightEdge, Conductor, or similar tools.
- Proven success aligning SEO initiatives with demand generation, digital marketing, and revenue objectives.
- Knowledge of search engine algorithms, structured data, semantic search, and modern content optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional marketing, sales, and digital teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search experiences and answer engines.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, lead scoring methodologies, and attribution models.
- Experience supporting large-scale digital marketing programs in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Background managing agencies, contractors, or external marketing partners.
