Purchasing IT Coordinator
We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing IT Coordinator to manage the procurement of IT hardware, software, licensing, and technology products. This is an operations-focused role where you'll work with internal teams and vendors to source products, obtain pricing, place orders, track deliveries, and resolve order issues.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and compare vendor quotes, pricing, and availability
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Track shipments and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Support procurement reporting, inventory tracking, and process improvements
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement coordination, order processing, or a similar operational support role.• Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Experience using purchasing software or related business systems to enter, track, and document procurement activity.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing product information such as quantities, part numbers, SKUs, and licensing details.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and distributors.
• Comfort comparing quotes, lead times, and availability to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Proficiency in recordkeeping, documentation, and general administrative coordination within a fast-paced business environment.
Compensation
