Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a business litigation practice in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is suited for a midlevel to senior attorney who is comfortable managing core litigation tasks across complex commercial disputes and contributing strategically throughout the case lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong drafting abilities, sound judgment in discovery matters, and confidence supporting deposition and trial preparation efforts.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and refine pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings for business litigation matters.
• Manage written discovery by developing requests, drafting responses, and addressing objections in a timely and strategic manner.
• Oversee document collection, review, and production to support compliance with discovery obligations.
• Assist in planning for depositions, including organizing exhibits, preparing outlines, and supporting witness preparation or defense strategy.
• Conduct legal research and translate findings into persuasive written advocacy for complex commercial disputes.
• Collaborate with litigators and clients to evaluate case developments, identify risks, and support effective litigation strategy.
• Support trial readiness by coordinating evidence, organizing case materials, and contributing to pretrial preparation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Midlevel to senior litigation experience, preferably in complex business or commercial disputes.
• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive litigation documents.
• Hands-on experience with written discovery, including preparing requests, responses, and related correspondence.
• Familiarity with document review and production processes in contested matters.
• Experience assisting with depositions, including preparation and defense support.
• Trial exposure is preferred but not required.

Compensation

$120,000.00-$150,000.00 Yearly
