Payroll Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Process complete payroll cycles accurately and on schedule for an employee population ranging from 101 to 500 staff members.
• Review timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and adjustments to ensure payroll data is complete and correct before each payroll run.
• Administer payroll-related deductions, including garnishments, in accordance with applicable orders, policies, and legal requirements.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation while ensuring sensitive employee information is handled confidentially.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies by working with employees, managers, and relevant internal contacts.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations to support auditing, recordkeeping, and management review.
• Apply payroll regulations and company guidelines consistently to help maintain compliance across all pay activities.
Qualifications:
• Experience processing payroll in a detail-focused business environment.• Hands-on knowledge of full-cycle payroll administration from data review through final processing.
• Ability to manage payroll for organizations with approximately 101 to 500 employees.
• Familiarity with payroll garnishments and related deduction requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct payroll errors promptly.
• Ability to handle confidential payroll information with discretion and care.
• Effective organizational and communication skills to support timely payroll operations and issue resolution.
Compensation
