Residential Loan Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain residential loan files, ensuring documents are accurately indexed, organized, and updated throughout the lending cycle.
• Prepare routine borrower communications, disclosures, letters, and standardized forms using approved templates and established procedures.
• Review incoming documentation for completeness, proper formatting, and accuracy before routing materials to the appropriate team members.
• Communicate with borrowers and internal lending staff to provide status updates, request outstanding items, and help resolve day-to-day questions.
• Coordinate with third-party contacts such as attorneys, appraisers, insurers, and verification providers to obtain required information on schedule.
• Track pending conditions, follow up on missing items, and raise delays or issues when deadlines may be affected.
• Support loan officers and processors with administrative tasks, reporting updates, and general workflow coordination.
• Maintain spreadsheets, shared folders, and document repositories to support audit readiness, compliance, and overall file integrity.
Qualifications:
• Experience in banking, mortgage operations, or financial services is preferred.• Working knowledge of residential mortgage documents and lending terminology is an advantage.
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and electronic document storage or shared file platforms.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Self-directed, proactive approach with the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in an in-person team environment.
Compensation
