Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound member and participant inquiries by phone and email, providing timely and attentive assistance related to services, programs, and events.
• Process registrations, cancellations, refunds, and related order entry tasks while keeping records current and accurate.
• Coordinate administrative details for conferences, webinars, and educational sessions to help ensure smooth execution from preparation through follow-up.
• Review schedules, presentation materials, digital event content, and program information to confirm accuracy and consistency before distribution.
• Gather and organize speaker profiles, headshots, award details, and program descriptions for use in event communications and collateral.
• Assist with purchasing and tracking event materials such as signage, branded items, awards, and other supplies needed for organizational activities.
• Schedule and support chapter leadership training activities, including participant communication and follow-up.
• Provide logistical and customer service support before, during, and after events to help create a positive experience for attendees, members, and volunteers.
Qualifications:
• Experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar member-facing administrative role.• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally while resolving questions and documenting interactions clearly.
• Working knowledge of order entry, registration processing, and basic record maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and event-related details.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to interacting with members, staff, vendors, and volunteers.
• High attention to detail when reviewing documents, schedules, and participant information for accuracy.
• Proficiency with standard office software and comfort learning systems used for membership, events, and communications.
Compensation
