Temp Recruiter

Our team is seeking a Temporary Recruiter to support hiring efforts in a structured government/nonprofit environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, people-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while following established recruiting processes. This is a great opportunity for a recruiting professional with at least 3 years of experience who enjoys working closely with hiring managers, supporting candidates throughout the hiring process, and handling a variety of openings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing full-cycle recruiting for roles that may require more personalized sourcing and partnership rather than large-scale, high-volume hiring.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, coordinating feedback, and supporting onboarding
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist with recruiting strategies for open positions
• Support hiring for specialized and hard-to-fill roles that may require customized outreach and sourcing methods
• Maintain job postings, candidate records, interview notes, and hiring documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
• Coordinate onboarding activities and help facilitate a smooth transition for new hires
• Provide general administrative support related to recruiting and HR processes
• Assist with additional HR or personnel-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of recruiting experience
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment independently
• Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work within established procedures and maintain detailed, accurate documentation
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience recruiting for specialized, niche, or hard-to-fill positions preferred
• Background in nonprofit, government, or public sector recruiting is a plus
• Additional HR support experience, such as onboarding, employee relations, compliance, or HR administration, is a plus
• Comfortable supporting a smaller organization and working on a variety of position types

Ideal Background: This role is best suited for someone who has worked in a setting where they were responsible for a broad range of recruiting duties, rather than only high-volume hiring. Candidates with experience in smaller organizations, nonprofit settings, government environments, or blended recruiting/HR support roles will be especially well aligned.
