Workday Developer
Responsibilities:
• Create and enhance technical solutions within Workday, supporting configuration, development, and long-term platform performance across enterprise operations.
• Develop, test, and maintain integrations between Workday and connected systems using tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, APIs, and web services.
• Partner with business and functional teams to interpret requirements and deliver technical designs that support HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation processes.
• Administer and refine Workday business processes, module configuration, and system enhancements to improve usability, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving integrations, data movement, reporting, and application behavior, and implement durable solutions.
• Produce and optimize Workday reports, analytics, and data outputs that support decision-making and operational visibility.
• Support third-party platform connectivity, including recruiting-related integrations such as Paradox, while maintaining data integrity and reliable performance.
• Contribute to major platform initiatives, including implementations, upgrades, and significant enhancements, while helping ensure system scalability and stability.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members and share best practices for Workday development, support, and documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.• At least 5 years of Workday technical experience, including strong hands-on development and support in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple Workday areas, including HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation.
• Proficiency with Workday integration and development tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, and web services.
• Strong background in Workday reporting, configuration management, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Workday systems, including upgrades, enhancements, or implementation activities.
• Workday certifications are highly preferred, especially in multiple areas such as Integrations, HCM, Studio, or Reporting.
• Additional experience with Workday Extend, Paradox recruiting platform integration, or mentoring early-career Workday professionals is preferred.
Compensation
