Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to support a respected real estate organization in New York, New York. This Contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented finance specialist who can translate complex data into clear business insights and help leadership evaluate financial performance. The role focuses on analyzing results, identifying trends, and contributing to sound planning and decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate financial results and interpret key drivers affecting performance across business activities.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting that delivers clear insight into budgets, forecasts, and actual outcomes.
• Investigate variances between expected and actual figures, summarize findings, and highlight potential risks or opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather financial inputs and support planning, forecasting, and decision support needs.
• Build and maintain financial models used to assess performance, trends, and strategic scenarios.
• Present analysis in a concise, executive-ready format to support leadership discussions and business recommendations.
• Monitor operating and financial metrics to identify shifts in performance and recommend follow-up actions when needed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis within a corporate or real estate-related environment.
• Strong capability in variance analysis with the ability to explain changes in financial performance.
• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet-based modeling, reporting, and data analysis.
• Ability to organize large volumes of financial information and produce accurate, timely insights.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to business partners and leadership.
• High attention to detail and sound judgment when working with confidential financial data.

Compensation

$47.50-$55.00 Hourly
