Dispatcher

We are looking for a Dispatcher to join our team in Mills River, North Carolina in a Contract to Permanent capacity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a service-focused setting, can balance urgent requests with shifting priorities, and communicates confidently with both customers and field personnel. The right candidate will bring strong coordination skills, accuracy in administrative tasks, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily scheduling activities by assigning service calls efficiently and aligning field staff with customer needs and timing requirements.
• Respond to a high volume of incoming requests, provide attentive support to customers, and keep communication clear between clients and technicians.
• Monitor active jobs throughout the day, adjust schedules as conditions change, and resolve conflicts to maintain smooth operations.
• Enter and maintain service details, updates, and customer information accurately across multiple computer systems.
• Work across several software platforms at once while tracking dispatch activity, documenting status changes, and supporting operational workflows.
• Apply established procedures consistently to ensure service accuracy, timely follow-up, and dependable coordination of logistics.
• Assist with operational coverage across different areas of the dispatch function as business demands shift and team priorities evolve.
• Address unexpected service issues with sound judgment, a courteous approach, and a focus on practical resolution.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in dispatching, preferably within a field-service or service-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver strong customer service and communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
• Experience handling large call volumes while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities successfully.
• Proficiency working with several computer applications and screens simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail when updating records and service information.
• Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to follow defined processes consistently.
• Proven problem-solving ability and sound decision-making under pressure.
• Adaptability with new systems and technology, along with flexibility to support varying operational needs.

Compensation

$19.95-$23.10 Hourly
