While this position is primarily remote, candidates must be willing to attend onsite meetings, training, and team events in Coralville, Iowa as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders regarding: Policy changes, Coverage questions, Billing inquiries, Claims-related questions
- Respond to client inquiries received via phone, email, text, and online channels.
- Educate clients on coverage options and help them understand the value of their policies.
- Process policy updates and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve issues and obtain information.
- Prepare and send documentation for review and signature.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy activity.
- Support licensed sales agents with service-related requests.
- Review existing policies and identify opportunities for improved pricing or coverage when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and agency policies.
Qualifications:
Required
- Active Property & Casualty License, or previous licensure that can be reinstated.
- 2+ years of insurance agency experience for Insurance Service Specialist level.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- High level of professionalism and dependability.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation
