Purchasing Agent

We are looking for a Purchasing Agent. This position is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing or production environments who can balance purchasing activities, material planning, and inventory accuracy. The role works closely with production, warehouse, and finance partners to help keep operations on schedule and ensure materials are available when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Create, track, and maintain purchasing and supply records, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up on commitments.
• Maintain and update system data, records, and documentation to support planning, reporting, and decision-making processes.
• Analyze operational data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and performance.
• Utilize enterprise software and reporting tools to monitor activities, track progress, and provide visibility into key business processes.
• Support the adjustment of priorities and schedules based on changing business needs, workload demands, and organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Background working with inventory management processes and material control activities.

• Familiarity with bills of materials and their use in supporting purchasing and production planning.

• Ability to manage large volumes of information and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Working knowledge of ERP or related business systems, along with solid Excel and data handling skills.

• Finance or accounting exposure is preferred.
