Contract Position

Pay: Available on W2 Basis

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Functional Consultant to support enterprise warehouse management initiatives and ongoing SAP WM project delivery. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to implement, configure, test, and optimize SAP WM solutions that support complex warehouse and supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on SAP WM functional expertise, a proven track record of leading end-to-end implementations, and the ability to translate operational business requirements into scalable SAP WM solutions. This role is focused on functional consulting and business process support rather than technical SAP development.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP Warehouse Management (WM) functional subject matter expert for warehouse and supply chain initiatives.
• Lead and support full lifecycle SAP WM implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, go-live activities, and production stabilization.
• Analyze business requirements and develop functional specifications aligned with operational needs and system capabilities.
• Configure and maintain SAP WM solutions to support inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify improvements, and recommend effective SAP WM solutions.
• Support software testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and defect resolution activities.
• Provide guidance and recommendations regarding SAP WM best practices, process improvements, and implementation strategies.
• Assist with application planning, system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing support efforts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of warehouse management processes across the organization.
• Mentor internal team members and facilitate knowledge transfer to support long-term sustainability of SAP WM solutions.
• Document functional designs, business processes, testing results, and implementation activities.
• Provide leadership during issue resolution, risk mitigation, and production support activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing, maintaining, and integrating enterprise software applications in complex business environments.
• Strong programming and coding background with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and specifications.
• Demonstrated skill in analyzing business requirements and converting them into effective application designs.
• Hands-on experience with software testing, quality assurance, debugging, and defect resolution processes.
• Knowledge of configuration management, implementation planning, and compliance-related software practices.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and SAP R/3 environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound technical judgment, and provide leadership on complex development challenges.

Compensation

$60.00-$65.00 Hourly
