VP/Director of Finance
Growing organization seeking an experienced financial leader to oversee planning, performance management, and overall financial operations. This role will partner with executive leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making while helping the organization achieve long-term growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with practical business insight and a collaborative leadership approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting and long-range planning processes by partnering with business leaders across multiple functional areas.
- Develop financial forecasts, models, and trend analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Provide leadership with data-driven recommendations related to growth opportunities, resource allocation, and business performance.
- Establish and maintain financial controls, spending oversight practices, and process improvements to support organizational efficiency.
- Analyze operational and departmental expenditures to identify cost optimization opportunities and improve profitability.
- Partner with leadership teams to evaluate the financial impact of evolving business needs and market conditions.
- Oversee financial aspects of organizational programs, investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators to support informed decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance staff while strengthening financial processes, policies, and external stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance to support sustainable growth and operational success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Progressive leadership experience in finance, accounting, or financial planning and analysis.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through financial insights and business partnership.
- Experience leading teams and driving process improvements in a growing organization.
- Advanced proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
Compensation
