Property Manager
Responsibilities:
• Manage annual and mid-cycle resident certification processes in alignment with affordable housing program rules and required timelines.
• Guide leasing activities by helping with applicant processing, coordinating move-ins, and keeping the waitlist current and organized.
• Address resident questions and concerns with professionalism, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and appropriately.
• Oversee maintenance request tracking by coordinating work orders and following up on completion status.
• Keep tenant files, occupancy documentation, and property records accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
• Support daily site operations while helping maintain adherence to housing compliance standards and occupancy requirements.
• Partner with site leadership to deliver a positive experience for current residents and prospective renters.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in property management, including prior work as an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager.• Hands-on experience with annual and interim recertifications in affordable or federally subsidized housing settings.
• Working knowledge of HUD and other subsidized housing program requirements and compliance practices.
• Ability to manage leasing support, resident relations, occupancy administration, and maintenance coordination effectively.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to handle competing priorities.
• Experience using property management software; RealPage proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Background in affordable housing, senior housing, or other regulated residential communities is highly desirable.
