Business Analyst
We are looking for a Business Analyst to help turn sales and operational data into clear insights that guide smarter business decisions. This position partners closely with commercial leaders and cross-functional teams to evaluate performance, uncover trends, and strengthen reporting across the organization. Based in Muskegon, Michigan, the role is ideal for someone who combines analytical depth with strong business judgment in a fast-moving B2B environment.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate sales results across regions, customer groups, channels, and product categories to identify patterns, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Gather and interpret information from Microsoft Dynamics and related business systems to produce meaningful analysis for leadership teams.
• Build, refine, and manage dashboards and recurring reports using Power BI and advanced Excel tools.
• Deliver regular KPI summaries and business performance updates, including insights into customer activity and commercial outcomes.
• Prepare visual reporting and analysis to support monthly and quarterly business review meetings.
• Partner with sales leaders to assess pipeline health, measure campaign effectiveness, and monitor customer engagement trends.
• Investigate data inconsistencies, highlight quality issues, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation for reporting workflows, dashboard logic, and data standards to promote consistency across teams.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.• At least 3 years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst position, ideally within a B2B, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel along with hands-on experience in Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
• Strong understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, forecasting, and customer segmentation.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems through data analysis while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global business setting with changing demands and timelines.
Compensation
