Legal Secretary

Robert Half is seeking a Legal Intake / Client Services Specialist for a contract opportunity with a busy personal injury law firm handling a large-scale medical device case. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong customer service skills, experience managing high call volumes, and the ability to perform accurate data entry in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound client calls in a professional and compassionate manner
• Gather and verify client information related to ongoing case matters
• Request, track, and follow up on medical records and other case-related documentation
• Perform heavy data entry and maintain accurate records in internal systems
• Communicate with clients regarding case intake steps, documentation needs, and status updates
• Organize and document information with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
• Support attorneys and legal staff with administrative tasks related to case management

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, legal intake, call center support, or administrative support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience handling high-volume phone activity
• Excellent data entry and computer skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
• Prior experience in a law firm, healthcare setting, or medical records environment is a plus
• Personal injury or mass tort experience preferred but not required

Preferred Skills:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience requesting or reviewing medical records is highly desirable
