Director of Financial Systems Support
We are looking for an experienced finance leader to oversee financial systems support and strengthen core planning, reporting, and close activities in San Francisco, California. This role will guide budgeting operations, improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, and provide leadership around cash flow visibility for the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of finance operations along with the ability to align systems support with business goals and decision-making needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the finance systems lead, translating accounting requirements into automated system solutions.
- Manage financial close systems, integrations, reconciliations, and audit support.
- Own and optimize NetSuite, including multi-entity, multi-currency, and reporting functionality.
- Oversee finance applications and integrations, driving automation and process improvements.
- Configure systems, troubleshoot issues, and support complex accounting transactions.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT leaders to align systems with business needs.
- Lead offshore support teams and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Develop user training, documentation, and best practices to improve adoption.
- Maintain system governance, data integrity, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Identify emerging technologies and scalable solutions to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in financial systems, ERP administration, accounting operations, or finance transformation.
- Strong expertise with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and finance platforms such as Coupa, Concur, FloQast, BlackLine, Zuora, Adaptive, and BigQuery.
- Deep knowledge of accounting processes, reporting, controls, and multiple accounting frameworks.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, system upgrades, and organizational growth.
- Proven ability to lead global/offshore support teams and drive scalable solutions.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Effective at balancing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Compensation
