Office Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors, provide front-desk support, and direct guests to the appropriate onsite contact or area.
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally, respond to routine questions, and relay messages accurately to staff members.
• Scan, organize, and maintain paper and digital records to support efficient office administration.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and general office upkeep.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of daily activities to help the site run smoothly during operating hours.
• Support testing or office room readiness by moving through designated areas, monitoring activity, and escorting individuals as needed.
• Help maintain office and computer work areas by navigating confined spaces safely and following established procedures.
• Lift, move, and arrange materials or supplies as needed, including items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an office assistant, receptionist, or similar administrative support role.• Ability to manage inbound calls, greet visitors, and provide attentive customer service in a busy environment.
• Experience with scanning documents, filing, and handling routine clerical and recordkeeping tasks.
• Comfortable standing or remaining seated for extended periods while staying attentive to assigned duties.
• Able to walk throughout the workspace regularly and bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds when required.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to follow site-specific instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to work with office equipment and view screens or monitors clearly.
Compensation
