Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customer interactions and administrative operations for a manufacturing organization in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This Contract position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and can manage detailed account information while responding to customer needs. The role involves working across customer records, order-related inquiries, and business systems to help deliver accurate service and timely follow-up.

Responsibilities:
• Support the collection, review, and upkeep of resale certificate documentation to help maintain compliant customer account records.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to products, orders, and account details by providing clear, accurate, and timely information.
• Keep customer files, notes, and service documentation organized and up to date across internal records.
• Use Microsoft Excel to enter data, monitor account activity, and prepare routine tracking information and reports.
• Access and update customer information in PT software and other business applications to ensure records remain accurate.
• Partner with internal departments to address service issues, coordinate follow-up, and improve the overall customer experience.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer communication as needed to resolve questions, support account needs, and strengthen business relationships.
• Take on additional administrative and customer support tasks as business priorities require.

Qualifications:

• Must be a valid U.S. Citizen.
• Previous experience in customer service within an office, call center, or business setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and basic reporting tasks.
• Comfortable using business software and computer-based systems, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once and remain effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with resale certificates or tax-exempt documentation is preferred.
• Familiarity with PT software and outbound customer outreach is a plus.

Compensation

$21.85-$25.30 Hourly
