Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support billing and shipment administration for a busy logistics operation in California. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who understands import and export processes and can work confidently across billing systems, spreadsheets, and shipping documentation. The person in this role will help maintain accurate invoice records, update shipment data, and keep daily logistics paperwork organized and moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare customer billing documents by reviewing logistics paperwork and assembling complete invoice support materials.
• Generate billing invoices within CargoWise and AS400-based systems while ensuring information is entered accurately.
• Record and transmit invoice details into internal tracking tools to keep billing data current and accessible.
• Enter shipment-related information into Microsoft Excel and maintain organized administrative records.
• Scan, copy, and manage shipping documents so files are complete and easy to retrieve.
• Provide day-to-day desk support for logistics operations through accurate data handling and document processing.
• Assist with import and export coordination tasks by helping maintain timely and organized shipment information.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience supporting import and export cargo operations.
• Working knowledge of logistics and distribution processes, including common shipping terminology.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Familiarity with CargoWise and AS400-based systems for logistics or billing activity.
• Ability to manage administrative tasks with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of shipping functions and logistics coordination in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to customs-related documentation or international freight processes is preferred.

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 Hourly
