Human Resources Benefits Specialist
We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Benefits Specialist to support benefits and leave administration for a Contract position based in Tucson, Arizona. This role focuses on delivering accurate employee support across medical, disability, and absence-related programs while maintaining reliable HR records and system data. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with HR systems, benefits processes, and day-to-day HR administration in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer employee benefit programs, including medical and disability plans, and respond to questions with clear, timely guidance.
• Coordinate leave of absence cases by tracking documentation, monitoring timelines, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee information in HRIS and other human resources systems, resolving discrepancies and supporting data integrity.
• Partner with internal HR team members and vendors to process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations efficiently.
• Review and reconcile benefits-related records, reports, and transactions to support accurate administration and employee payroll alignment.
• Assist with employee communications related to benefits eligibility, coverage updates, and leave procedures.
• Support HR operations by documenting processes, preparing reports, and contributing to improvements in benefits administration workflows.
• Provide administrative support for compensation and benefits activities as assigned by HR leadership.
Qualifications:
• Experience in human resources administration with a focus on benefits and employee support.• Working knowledge of HRIS, human resources management systems, and related HR software tools.
• Hands-on experience administering medical benefits, disability benefits, and leave of absence processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive employee data accurately and confidentially.
• Ability to interpret policies, maintain organized records, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for assisting employees and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting data issues and maintaining accuracy across HR systems and reports.
Compensation
