Report Developer

We are looking for a Report Developer to support reporting and analytics initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity in Richmond, Virginia. This position will focus on building clear, reliable reporting solutions that help teams interpret business performance and make informed decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with modern visualization tools, front-end technologies, and report development best practices within the Real Estate & Property industry.

Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain reporting solutions that transform business data into meaningful dashboards and operational reports.
• Develop interactive data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and SSRS to present insights in a clear and user-friendly format.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting needs, define technical requirements, and translate business questions into effective deliverables.
• Create front-end components and reporting interfaces using JavaScript, React.js, and Redux where custom presentation layers are needed.
• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot reporting issues, and refine outputs to ensure consistency, usability, and performance.
• Organize report logic, calculations, and documentation so solutions can be supported and enhanced over time.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing enterprise reports and dashboards in a detail-oriented business environment.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI and SSRS for report creation, publishing, and maintenance.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript with practical experience using React.js and Redux.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into technical reporting solutions.
• Solid understanding of data validation, report testing, and quality assurance practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Compensation

$32.00-$36.00 Hourly
