Patient Service Representative
We are looking for a Patient Service Representative to join a healthcare office in Warminster, PA and create a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing front-desk coordination, appointment management, and responsive patient support in a busy setting. The person in this role will help keep daily operations organized while partnering with staff to ensure efficient service and accurate administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate appointment bookings, confirmations, and schedule changes while maintaining precise calendar information within the practice system.
• Welcome patients upon arrival, complete intake and checkout activities, and verify that required information and documentation are properly recorded.
• Respond to incoming phone calls professionally, assist with patient questions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient files and update records in accordance with office procedures and confidentiality standards.
• Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, handling mail, and keeping the reception space orderly and inviting.
• Work closely with clinical and office personnel to promote efficient workflow and a positive patient visit from arrival through departure.
• Address service concerns promptly, follow up on outstanding items, and help resolve routine issues with a patient-focused approach.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a medical office, dental practice, or other front-desk environment with strong attention to detail is preferred.• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a courteous and attentive customer service style.
• Demonstrated ability to manage patient scheduling, registration, and general administrative support with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using office software, scheduling platforms, and electronic systems for data entry and record updates.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities at once while staying organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to protecting confidential information and maintaining accuracy in patient-related documentation.
• Dependable team player who contributes to a supportive office environment and high-quality patient service.
Compensation
