Medical Coder
Our team is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Medical Coder with CPC certification and experience for an ongoing opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical coding standards, payer requirements, and documentation review. Based on general knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient charts and clinical documentation to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
- Apply ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with coding guidelines and payer requirements.
- Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Communicate with providers, billing teams, and internal stakeholders to clarify documentation and resolve coding issues.
- Support timely claims processing and reimbursement through accurate code assignment.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while working independently in a remote setting.

- CPC certification required.
- Previous experience in medical coding within a healthcare, hospital, or physician practice setting.
- Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with payer guidelines, compliance standards, and medical terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
