Position Overview
Aegis Aerospace is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The JNWC supports the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission and efforts to ensure U.S. positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) superiority. The JNWC provides combatant commanders and joint force commanders with specialized expertise supporting the planning and execution of NAVWAR operations.

In this role, you will support the integration of command, control, communications, and computers (C4), cyber, and cyberspace operations into JNWC strategic and operational objectives. You will work across organizations to facilitate information sharing, coordinate cyber-related activities, review applicable policies and authorities, and help ensure operational requirements are implemented effectively within a joint DoD environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate cyber and cyberspace activities with organizations including the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Joint Force Headquarters-Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN), and other DoD or CYBERCOM components as required.
  • Support the integration of C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations into JNWC strategic and operational objectives.
  • Facilitate information sharing between JNWC personnel, external organizations, operational partners, and other government stakeholders.
  • Integrate information-sharing requirements and processes into C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations.
  • Review applicable cybersecurity and cyberspace policies, directives, authorities, and procedures.
  • Support implementation of applicable cyber policies and requirements and help ensure organizational compliance.
  • Analyze cyber-related requirements and provide recommendations supporting mission planning and operational objectives.
  • Coordinate with government, military, technical, intelligence, and operational personnel to identify and address cyber and information-sharing requirements.
  • Prepare documentation, briefings, assessments, and other materials supporting cyber operations and government decision-making.
  • Communicate technical and operational cyber information effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Support joint working groups, coordination meetings, planning activities, and other mission requirements as assigned.
  • Operate effectively in a classified environment while protecting sensitive information and maintaining compliance with applicable security requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant professional cybersecurity, cyber operations, information assurance, or closely related experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with current eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
  • Current cybersecurity certification appropriate to the position, such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CySA+, CASP+/SecurityX, or an equivalent industry-recognized certification.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, cyber operations, information assurance, or related activities within a government, military, or defense environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, authorities, compliance requirements, and operational processes.
  • Experience coordinating requirements or activities across multiple organizations or technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple mission requirements in a classified environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a joint government and contractor team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Joint Force Headquarters-DoD Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN), or another CYBERCOM component.
  • Experience integrating C4, cyber, or cyberspace capabilities into military operational planning.
  • Experience working within a Combatant Command, Joint Force, Service cyber component, or comparable DoD operational environment.
  • Experience facilitating information sharing across military, intelligence, cybersecurity, and operational organizations.
  • Knowledge of NAVWAR, positioning, navigation, and timing operations, or associated DoD mission environments.
  • Experience interpreting and implementing DoD cybersecurity policies, directives, and authorities.
  • Ability to operate independently with limited government oversight while contributing effectively within a joint working environment.
