Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Process Automation
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
Drive solutions to reduce recovery
Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
Design complex system upgrades
Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, and education.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in process automation, workflow orchestration, and automation engineering.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise Workplace Technology environments.
- Proven expertise in automation solution design, development, integration, deployment, and operational support.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Bash/Shell, and REST API integrations.
- Experience with Microsoft automation technologies, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITSM platforms, including Flow Designer, Integration Hub, workflow automation, governance, and compliance automation.
- Experience in cloud and infrastructure automation using Azure Functions, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and engineering tools, including Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring and logging solutions.
- Experience with monitoring, analytics, and reporting tools such as Power BI, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL, and operational dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven and intelligent automation solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate Desktop, UiPath, and RPA platforms.
- Knowledge of Workplace Technology platforms, including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, and Trader Voice solutions.
- Experience delivering automation capabilities such as enterprise integrations, user lifecycle management, self-service solutions, self-healing automation, and process orchestration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify automation opportunities and drive efficiencies.
- Excellent verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments with a solid understanding of DevOps practices, continuous improvement, and automation-first engineering principles.

- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, regulatory, and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting frameworks, dashboards, and operational insights across multiple enterprise data sources.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures for automation and integration solutions.
- Support audit and regulatory requirements through accurate reporting, documentation, and process controls.
- Identify opportunities for automation, self-service, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement automation initiatives.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, monitoring, analytics, and operational excellence.
