Leidos’ Undersea Systems Division is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Project Coordinator in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics, procurement, and administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager (PM), Deputy Project Manager (DPM), and the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Teams supporting the Spindrift and Sculpin contracts. This position will coordinate personnel onboarding and offboarding, security and badging requirements, procurement & logistic activities, travel support, vendor management, and other administrative functions necessary to successfully execute the contracts.

This position will require the candidate to maintain a Secret Clearance.
This position will require the candidate to work an onsite 9/80B schedule (80 hours of work into nine days over a two-week period, allowing for every other Friday off) to align with the NIWC government team.
Key Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of Leidos employees supporting the Customer site in San Diego.
- Coordinate security, badging, access, training, and certification requirements for new and existing personnel.
- Prepare and submit required documentation for purchase requests supporting the Spindrift Contract using P-Card, Costpoint, and NPO tools.
- Prepare bi-weekly P-Card packages for audit and ensure transactions are properly documented and reconciled.
- Post Goods Receipts (GRs) and process invoices through the NPO workflow.
- Assist employees with travel arrangements, travel documentation, and expense report submissions.
- Research supplier status in Ivalua and support the onboarding and qualification of prospective suppliers.
- Serve as a liaison between government personnel, Leidos leadership, project teams, procurement organizations, and suppliers regarding administrative and procurement-related matters.
- Prepare and submit purchase requests for timely review and approval by the PM and Project Leads.
- Coordinate with receiving teams to ensure material is received, properly documented, and Goods Receipts are posted in Costpoint to support timely supplier payments and customer invoicing.
- Monitor vendor payments and coordinate the resolution of payment, invoicing, and procurement issues.
- Support single-source and sole-source procurement requirements, including preparation and submission of required documentation.
- Track procurement actions from initial request through approval, fulfillment, reconciliation, and closeout.
- Participate in recurring customer and internal meetings to provide status updates on active procurements, identify schedule conflicts and risks, and support mitigation of deliverable issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement, personnel, and administrative records in accordance with company and contract requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative and procurement processes, communication, and overall project efficiency.
- Perform additional administrative, logistics, and procurement duties as required to support successful contract execution.
- Occasional travel to the Customer site may be required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4–8 years of administrative and/or procurement experience, or Master's degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience, preferably supporting the Navy or Department of War (DoW).
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance prior to starting employment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees, project leadership, government customers, suppliers, and senior management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Secret security clearance.
- Experience using Deltek, Costpoint, and Ivalua systems.
- Experience with Costpoint Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal procurement processes.
- Experience supporting Navy, DoW, or other government contracts.
- Experience with P-Card administration, purchase requests, supplier management, and procurement tracking.
- Experience supporting government customer meetings and providing procurement or project status briefings.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
