Data Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Analyze customer data files in Excel to identify organizational relationships and map links between parent companies, subsidiaries, and related entities.
• Research publicly available sources to confirm ownership structures, legal relationships, and account alignment across business records.
• Build accurate company hierarchies for priority accounts and organize findings into a format that supports reliable business use.
• Clean and standardize inconsistent customer information so records can be used more effectively by downstream teams and platforms.
• Prepare validated datasets for transfer into business systems, including Salesforce and enterprise data repositories.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align on hierarchy rules, data handling methods, and account research outcomes.
• Apply established procedures while managing detailed investigative tasks independently and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Support data improvement efforts tied to source information from Snowflake and other organizational systems, using Excel as the primary working tool.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately with large datasets and maintain strong attention to detail in repetitive, detail-heavy tasks.• Practical experience using Excel for data review, organization, updates, and file-based record management.
• Ability to perform internet-based research and reconcile information from multiple sources to confirm corporate relationships.
• Understanding of how businesses are structured, including parent-child ownership models and related entity connections.
• Capability to follow defined processes, accept direction, and deliver consistent results within established guidelines.
• Detail-oriented, dependable work style with the focus needed to manage precise analytical assignments.
• Background in data analysis, fraud investigation, fraud analytics, anti-fraud work, or other research-driven analytical environments is valued.
• Prior exposure to customer master data, hierarchy creation, data governance, or account cleanup projects is preferred.
Compensation
