Accounts Receivable Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring invoices, payments, and account balances are recorded accurately and on time.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain clean and current receivables records.
• Apply cash receipts and monitor daily cash activity to support accurate financial tracking.
• Contribute to cash forecasting efforts by compiling data and helping project expected inflows and spending patterns.
• Review actual financial activity against projections and highlight notable variances for the accounting team.
• Support the preparation and validation of reporting details used in ongoing financial reviews.
• Partner with treasury and accounting colleagues on ad hoc assignments and priority projects as business needs evolve.
Qualifications:
• Experience working in accounts receivable, including reconciliation and payment application activities.• Hands-on knowledge of cash applications, billing support, and commercial collections processes.
• Ability to analyze account activity and resolve discrepancies with accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing data, tracking balances, and supporting reporting tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities within established deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal finance teams.
• Availability to work a hybrid schedule in Morristown, New Jersey, with two days onsite and three days remote.
