Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Attorney/Lawyer to provide part-time support on civil litigation matters in Glendale, California. This Long-term Contract position is suited for an attorney who can contribute across the progression of a case, from early factual development through trial readiness, while partnering closely with the broader legal team. The role offers an opportunity to apply strong drafting, discovery, and litigation support skills in a dynamic practice environment.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to civil litigation matters by assisting with preparation activities from initial case assessment through trial support.
• Analyze case facts, organize supporting information, and help shape litigation strategies for active matters.
• Oversee written discovery tasks, review case documents, and coordinate related litigation materials to keep matters progressing.
• Prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other court submissions with accuracy and attention to procedural requirements.
• Work closely with attorneys and legal support staff to maintain momentum on deadlines, filings, and case deliverables in a part-time capacity.
• Conduct legal research and synthesize findings into practical recommendations that support ongoing litigation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission to the California Bar in good standing.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in civil litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage discovery activities and prepare motion-related documents.
• Experience supporting cases throughout the litigation lifecycle, including trial preparation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and organizational capabilities.
• Background in medical malpractice, insurance defense, or personal injury litigation is preferred.

Compensation

$71.25-$82.50 Hourly
