Functional Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced IT Payroll Functional Consultant to support payroll systems, process optimization, and cross-functional HRIS/payroll initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SAP ECC6/ SAP ( must have), payroll configurations, systems support, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration across HR, IT, and Finance. This role will be located in Chino, CA onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support payroll system operations, maintenance, and enhancement activities within SAP ECC6.

• Analyze payroll-related business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. .

• Troubleshoot payroll system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate timely resolution.

• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to improve payroll processes and system performance. .

• Assist with payroll configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of system updates or fixes.

• Ensure payroll processing aligns with compliance, audit, and internal control requirements.

-Support data integrity, reporting, and interface monitoring between payroll and related enterprise systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business analysis within payroll-focused environments. ( must have)

• Hands-on knowledge of full-cycle in-house payroll operations.

• Strong experience working with SAP ECC6, including payroll-related functional support. ( must have)

• Ability to document requirements and translate business needs into practical system solutions.

• Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting payroll application issues and coordinating issue resolution.

• Familiarity with payroll compliance standards, controls, and audit-related requirements.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams that include HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT.
