Applications Architect
We are looking for an experienced Applications Architect to lead the design and direction of enterprise data architecture for a complex, data-driven organization. This role will shape how information is organized, integrated, secured, and governed so teams across the business can use data more effectively and confidently. The position partners with senior technology leaders to establish scalable standards, promote modern architecture practices, and ensure data capabilities support strategic business priorities while meeting regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture roadmap, aligning platforms, integration patterns, and information management practices with organizational goals.
• Establish architectural standards that improve data quality, consistency, interoperability, and stewardship across business and technology domains.
• Guide the design of secure and scalable data solutions spanning analytics, integration services, and cloud-based data environments.
• Collaborate with fellow senior architects and engineering leaders to create a unified enterprise architecture vision and encourage adoption of shared best practices.
• Interpret legal, regulatory, and security obligations and translate them into practical architectural controls for data classification, protection, retention, and access.
• Provide technical leadership for application and API architecture decisions that influence how data is exchanged, consumed, and governed across systems.
• Evaluate emerging tools, platforms, and design approaches to strengthen data enablement, operational efficiency, and long-term architectural resilience.
• Advise stakeholders on architecture strategy, investment priorities, and implementation approaches for high-impact enterprise initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in application or enterprise architecture with a strong focus on data architecture in large-scale environments.• Demonstrated expertise in API development and integration architecture supporting reliable data exchange across distributed systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS technologies and cloud-based architecture patterns for secure, scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and its role within broader application and content ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of data governance, information security, compliance, and lifecycle management principles.
• Proven ability to define architecture standards and influence cross-functional teams at both strategic and technical levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Compensation
