Project Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead custom millwork projects from award through completion, ensuring deliverables are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Build and manage project timelines that align internal production, vendor commitments, and installation milestones.
• Procure materials and coordinate supplier activity to support uninterrupted project progress.
• Track financial performance, manage costs, and help maintain healthy project margins throughout execution.
• Collaborate closely with shop, field, and operations teams to keep work moving according to plan.
• Organize installation activities and oversee site execution to support quality workmanship and timely completion.
• Evaluate architectural plans, shop drawings, and specifications to confirm scope, accuracy, and constructability.
• Administer project documentation including RFIs, submittals, revisions, and change management records.
• Visit job sites to confirm conditions, monitor status, and resolve issues before they affect schedule or budget.
• Verify that finished work meets company quality expectations and client requirements at closeout.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of project management experience in millwork, cabinetry, finish carpentry, remodeling, or construction environments.• Ability to interpret architectural documents, shop drawings, and technical specifications with confidence.
• Strong skills in planning, organization, budgeting, and clear, detail-oriented communication.
• Experience coordinating external vendors, internal production teams, and installation crews across multiple phases of work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several active projects in a deadline-driven setting.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area.
• Proactive, accountable approach with strong problem-solving skills and consistent follow-through.
