Real Estate Paralegal / Legal Operations Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Operations Specialist to support residential real estate transactions for an investment organization based in Scottsdale, Arizona. This in-office position offers flexible scheduling and focuses on document-intensive legal and operational work tied to real estate financing activity within master-planned communities. The person in this role will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, manage high-volume real estate records, and help move agreements and approvals efficiently through internal and external review.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the existing team member to support owner authorization activities related to lot land-banking arrangements with home builders in master-planned developments.

• Review, organize, and maintain a large monthly volume of real estate documentation, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and easy to retrieve.

• Coordinate the routing of legal and transactional documents to outside counsel and internal signatories for review, approval, and execution.

• Apply working knowledge of residential real estate terminology and documents, including easements, title-related materials, and CC& Rs, when handling transactions.

• Track the status of agreements, approvals, and supporting files to help keep transactions moving on schedule.

• Provide administrative and transactional support across legal operations, including document preparation, file management, and follow-up with relevant parties.

• Help maintain consistent processes for handling incoming and outgoing transaction documents across multiple active matters.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a real estate paralegal, legal operations, or residential real estate support role.
• Strong familiarity with residential real estate transactions, subdivision-related matters, title documentation, and real estate financing concepts.
• Practical experience working with documents such as easements, CC& Rs, owner authorizations, and related transaction records.
• Advanced technology skills with the ability to manage high document volume and work efficiently in digital filing and processing systems.
• Proven ability to coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail in a deadline-driven, document-heavy environment.
• Background in the real estate industry, preferably with exposure to real estate companies, land acquisition, or investment-related operations.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$115,000.00 Yearly
