Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests, students, and staff with a courteous and detail-oriented approach while ensuring smooth front desk coverage throughout the day.
• Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments, and taking accurate messages when needed.
• Coordinate calendars, arrange meetings, and schedule appointments to support leaders and administrative personnel.
• Provide general administrative assistance such as preparing documents, organizing information, and handling routine office tasks.
• Monitor front office activity to maintain an orderly reception area and create a positive experience for all visitors.
• Track, order, and replenish office materials to ensure staff have the supplies needed for daily operations.
• Respond to questions with a customer-focused mindset and escalate issues appropriately when additional support is required.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.• Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a courteous and service-oriented demeanor.
• Experience managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and supporting day-to-day office activities.
• Proficiency in handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in an office or academic setting and interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
• Reliable organizational skills and the ability to maintain office supply levels and front desk workflow.
Compensation
