Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees across a variety of positions, ensuring each step is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Manage new employee checklists, collect required employment documents, and track outstanding items through completion.
• Arrange pre-employment requirements such as background screenings, drug tests, and motor vehicle record checks.
• Maintain employee information within HR systems and confirm records are updated, complete, and compliant.
• Assist with benefits-related administrative tasks and help answer routine employee questions during the onboarding process.
• Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to schedule orientation steps, start dates, and other employment-related activities.
• Support employee relations and day-to-day HR administration by responding to requests and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Help coordinate HR process updates and administrative changes within systems or workflows as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in human resources, onboarding, or HR administration is helpful; entry-level candidates with relevant coordination experience may also be considered.• Working knowledge of onboarding procedures, employment documentation, and pre-employment screening activities.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms or other human resources software used to maintain employee records.
• Ability to manage scheduling details, organize multiple tasks, and follow established timelines.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work with employees, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting employee relations or benefits administration is a plus.
